Optimists bring out the best in youth & ourselves.
Through volunteer-led service, leadership programs, and community action, Optimist International helps young people thrive — and empowers adults to make a lasting difference.
About us
The Optimist Club of Centre Wellington Fergus is a volunteer-driven group of community members dedicated to supporting youth and strengthening our local community.
As part of Optimist International, we share a simple but powerful purpose: to bring out the best in youth, our community, and ourselves.
Here in Centre Wellington, that means showing up—through events, fundraising, and hands-on support—to make a real difference in the lives of local kids and families.

Empowering the Next Generation.
At Optimist International, we believe that by providing hope and positive vision, we bring out the best in youth, our communities, and ourselves. Our youth programs are designed to provide young people with the tools they need to build stronger communities and become the best versions of themselves.
